Commonly called Green Ash in our region. Ash offers a variety of unique grains in the heartwood, has impressive hardness properties for tabletops, mantels, and other applications requiring durability.
Primarily American Elm in our region. Elm is another hardwood known for good impact resistance and many exhibit a unique dark colored heartwood. Used in furniture, flooring, and other decorative applications.
Juniper, often called cedar in our region. It is one of our favorites with a rustic and vibrant look. Juniper is a softwood, having both exciting character in the heartwood grains and outside live edges.
Commonly called Russian Olive in our region. It offers a unique dark heartwood full of grains and character. The deep brown interior is sharply contrasted with a bright yellow color following the live edge. A very good hardwood offering durability.
Primarily Ponderosa Pine in our region. Pine is a lightweight softwood that's easy to work with. Having a lighter interior, Pine often exhibits hints of blue and orange shades along the grains. Great for drawers, trim, and other decorative applications.
Commonly Colorado Blue Spruce or Black Hills Spruce in our region. Spruce is a lightweight softwood having a good strength to weight ratio for construction. Its interior has a very light color speckled with numerous dark knots offering a simple, yet appealing look. See Slab Inventory
